Metal Fabrication
After acquiring the fabrication facility of Britax Contour Seats in 2000, Percival Aviation consolidated all of the equipment at the Barnes Wallis Road facility and can boast a fully comprehensive metal fabrication and assembly workshop.
The list of equipment ranges from CNC vertical mills, lathes, CNC sheet metal punching, bending machines and brake presses. The Percival Aviation in house capability is probably one of the most comprehensive of any company in the cabin interiors equipment sector.
The manufacturing capability can extend from the simplest of brackets to the complex assembly of a seat centre console. Having the capability on-site ensures that during repair and overhaul of interior components, there is the ability to perform repairs and manufacture new components without impacting on the turnaround times.
Percival Aviation also has an in house capability to perform welding to aerospace standards, specialising in aluminium Tig welding.
