Trim Shop
The Percival Aviation Trim Shop is responsible for the manufacture of seat foams, arm caps and other cabin equipment.
The aircraft seat foam manufacturing capability is used across all seating platforms from passenger to flight crew. Percival Aviation’s has the capability to design and manufacture replacement foams for all types of seats, either using the existing parts as patterns or replacing with a new style, encompassing any additional static or dynamic testing that is required.
Replacement foams is not just associated with seating products, but Percival Aviation manufacture a large number of mattress foams for crew rest areas.
Percival Aviation also has the capability of repairing and refurbishing arm caps installed on most types of seats in service today. The arm cap structure and covering can be repaired or replaced, which allows for a change of colour and material if the customer desires.
