Flammability Testing
Percival Aviation is able to conduct its own Flammability Tests in its own purpose built Test Facility. The Test Facility is equipped with Vertical, horizontal and Combination burn test equipment, as well as a specimen conditioning cabinet.
All material testing is carried out to the appropriate requirements of CS25.853. Test results are certified by the Quality Department and approved by a suitably approved Design Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
The CS25.853(c) App F. Pt 2 Combination Test Chamber was commissioned in the summer of 2010 and has been in constant use ever since, performing flammability testing for seat covers and foams on passenger, flight deck and cabin attendant seats.
